the human brain exists to perceive the vibrancy of such colours. yeah other stuff too, but mainly because such colours exist and there needs to be something around that appreciates them. before they fall to the ground and get all eaten up by fungus and bacteria or crushed into oblivion by boots and paws. these aren’t the real colours of course. they are just electronic representations. the real colours only exist in my brain for the fleeting moment I’m which I perceive these dying leaves. beauty in decay. such beauty.
