some things exist nowhere before existing somewhere. it is the artist’s task to surface these. this may be of no importance, but the things emerge because they must. things emerge all the time and change the world in little ways. be it a novelty plastic toy or a strange form. strange forms are necessary. they are also entirely frivolous.
