most of my work at the moment it made from bits and pieces of wood and other materials I have hanging around. I try and use the properties of the materials as much as possible to guide the work. Art is all about choices. I think many people think that the creative process starts when the canvas or whatever is on the easel. But just getting to that point involved a lot of choices. For me, hunting around for stuff to make a mess on is as an important as the actual mess making.
