mixing up mediums is where a lot of my creativity comes from. Not the fact that there is anything novel in the act itself, it’s that the tension between the media themselves creates problems and possibilities. Media are often only bedfellows in certain circumstances and criteria. The tension this causes often suggests avenues to explore and suggests new ways of thinking about each.
