Four Ways of Looking — register interest

A four-week course: one two-hour session a week, four different angles on the same problem — how to represent what's in front of you without simply copying it. Line, colour, form and composition, guided by a professional artist. No experience needed and all materials provided.

Four weekly two-hour sessions, one price
Week one — line and boundaries: colour building edges instead of filling shapes
Week two — colour and mood: a photograph rebuilt from colour patches alone
Week three — form: continuous line drawing, then printing from polystyrene
Week four — composition: traditional composition, then pulling the whole block together
All materials included, all levels welcome
